Ellis is a wealth manager, insurance expert, and retirement planning specialist. He is author of the book, “Wealth Management: Merging Faith with Finance.”
His financial advice and commentary have been featured in print, radio and television in the Detroit and Atlanta areas. He is a regular guest on News Talk 1200 WCHB AM’s Inside Detroit, serves as a consultant on financial issues for WXYZ Channel 7 Action News, and has been featured in “Detroit Business”, “Hour” magazine, and “Who’s Who in Black Detroit”. He has conducted financial seminars and workshops around the country and has been a guest speaker at TD Jakes’ The Potter’s House.
In 2007, Ellis became the first African American to be ranked the #1 financial advisor two years in a row.
