The event featured hands-on demonstrations of the latest 4G LTE tablets and smartphones as well as Intuit’s GoPayment mobile credit card solution. Business owners heard from keynote speaker Leonard “Len” Burnett, co-CEO and group publisher of Uptown Media Group and Vibe Media Group about how companies can leverage social media to connect with customers. Attendees also learned from presentations, including “Wireless Payment Solutions,” “Managing Your Brand Online,” “Apps to Help Manage your Business” and more.

Currently, Burnett serves as Co-Founder and Group Publisher of Uptown Media Group which has Earvin ”Magic” Johnson as the Chairman. UMG is comprised of Uptown magazine, a national and regional publication that focuses on the lifestyle and culture of the Affluent African American, Uptown Professional, UptownSocial, the guide to life’s essentials for work and play, producers of Uptown and VIBE signature events and VIBE magazine which he helped launch in 1993.
Burnett is also the Co-CEO of Vibe Lifestyle Network, an online advertising network that includes Vibe.com, its flagship property and VIBEVixen.com, the fashion and beauty site for women.
