    24-HOUR MAJOR CRIME SUMMARY REPORT

     

     

     

     

     

     

    November 7, 2012 – 6:01 a.m. to November 8, 2012 – 6:00 a.m. 

    Wednesday, 11/07/12 – 1:10 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    At Intervale and Wyoming, the male victim, aged 50, received a gunshot wound, and has died from the injuries. The circumstances pertaining to this incident are currently under investigation.

     

    WANTED:

    Suspect (s):  Unknown person(s); armed.

    Wednesday, 11/07/12 –7:45 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 15600 block of W. McNichols, the male victims, aged 34 and 33, were inside a local business when the two suspects entered the location, and demanded money.  The suspects escaped in a vehicle (dark colored, Ford Fusion), along with the victims personal properties, and an undisclosed amount of U. S. currency.  The victims were not injured.

    WANTED:

    Suspect #1:  Black male, 20’s, 160-170 lbs, clean shaven, medium complexion, medium build, wearing a gray skull cap, blue Northface fleece, blue jeans, Wheat Timberland boots, and armed.

    Suspect #2:  Black male, 20’s, 160-170 lbs, clean shaven, medium complexion, wearing a gray sweat shirt with a hood, dark gray sweat pants, wheat colored Timberland boots, and armed.

    Wednesday, 11/07/12 – 8:00 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    In the 6100 block of W. Vernor, the male victim, aged 24, was working at a local retail business when three suspects entered the location, and demanded money.  The suspects escaped in a vehicle (silver, Trailblazer), along with an undisclosed amount of U. S. currency.

     

    WANTED: 
    Suspect #1:  Black male, 20’s, 6’-2”, 230 lbs., wearing a dark sweatshirt with a  hood, black, dark baseball cap, ski mask, and armed.

    Suspect #2:  Black male, 30’s, 5’-9”, 220 lbs., wearing dark sweatshirt with a hood, dark bandana covering his face, and armed.

    Suspect #3:  Driver of vehicle. No further information.

    Wednesday, 11/07/12 – 10:10 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    In the 6100 block of Michigan, two male suspects entered the local restaurant, announcing a robbery. The male victim, aged 51, (CPL Holder), fired gunshots, and the male suspect, aged 29, also fired gunshots. The male victim received a gunshot wound, and another male victim, aged 46, received a graze wound. The male suspect was struck in the body and has died. The second male suspect fled from the location. Both victims were listed in stable conditions.

     

    WANTED:

    Suspect: Black male, wearing a black mask, and an orange sweater.

    Wednesday, 11/07/12 – 11:30 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    At Woodward and Temple, the male victim, aged 62, was discovered lying in the middle of the street, unresponsive.  The Wayne County Medical Examiners will be determining the cause of death.

     

    WANTED:

    Suspect #1: Unknown

    Thursday, 11/08/12 – 12:54 a.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    In the 700 block of E. Savannah, the female victim, aged 39, was involved in a verbal confrontation with a known suspect, who produced a weapon, and fired a shot striking the victim in the body.  She has died from the injuries.

     

    ARRESTED: 
    KnownSuspect:  Black female, 28

    1.On November 11th, around 4:00 a.m.,inside an apartment’s complex, three men, aged 35, 45, and 47, were struggling over a weapon, when it discharged.  Two men and a female, aged 30, received gunshot wounds.  The female victim was listed in critical condition; the male victim (35) was listed in temp-serious condition; and the male victim (45) was listed in stable condition.

    The male suspect, aged 47, was arrested and the weapon was recovered.

    2.On November 11th, around 6:30 a.m., inside a home, located in the 5300 block of Lodgewcyk, the male victim, aged 43, was discovered, deceased.   He sustained a gunshot to the body.  The circumstances pertaining to this incident is unknown at this time,

     

    Sunday, 11/11/12

    This afternoon, around 1:30 p.m., on Gratiot and Conner, supposedly the male victim aged 20, was on a crowded DDOT (bus), when he accidentally bumped into the male suspect, who produced a weapon, and fired shots.  The male victim received a gunshot wound and was listed in temp-serious condition.  The suspect fled from the bus.
