    24-HOUR MAJOR CRIME SUMMARY REPORT

    November 10, 2012 – 6:01 a.m. to November 11, 2012 – 6:00 a.m.

    NOTE: Each of the following summaries are allegations of incidents that have been reported and are under investigation.  

    Saturday, 11/10/12 – 5:40 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    In the 14900 block of Robson, the male victim, aged 35, had exited his vehicle when the suspect approached, and fired shots, striking him in the body.  The suspect fled from the location.  The victim was listed in stable condition.

     

    WANTED:

    Suspect:  Unknown person.

    Saturday, 11/10/12 –7:05 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 16600 block of W. Warren, the female victim, aged 20, was at her vehicle when she was approached by the suspects.  They escaped in her vehicle (2008, Black, Ford Edge), along with personal items that were taken.  The victim was not injured.

    WANTED:

    Suspect #1:  Black male, 20’s, 5’-8”, short hair, slim build, and armed.

    Suspect #2:  Black male

    Saturday, 11/10/12 – 11:00 a.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    At Puritan and Woodingham, the male victim, aged 26, was driving in the area when a sports utility vehicle (SUV, Black) pulled beside him.  The victim then heard shots and felt pain.  The victim received a gunshot wound, and was listed in stable condition.

     

    WANTED: 
    Suspect:  Unknown person; armed.

    Saturday,11/10/12 – 5:40 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    In the 5500 block of Lodewyck, the male victim, aged 47, was found inside a dwelling, deceased.  The victim had received gunshot wounds to the body, and has died. The circumstances pertaining to this incident are unknown at this time.

    Suspect(s):  Unknown person(s).

    Saturday, 11/10/12 – 11:30 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    In the 5300 block of Seabolt, the male victim, aged 45, was walking home when the known suspect approached him, and began firing shots.  The victim received a gunshot wound, and was listed in critical condition.

     

    WANTED:

    Known Suspect: Black male, 27, wearing black clothing, and armed.

    Sunday, 11/11/12 – 11:30 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    At Joy Rd. and Greenfield the male victim, aged 25, was the passenger in a vehicle when the suspects pulled up beside them in a car (Burgundy, Ford, Crown Victoria), and fired shots.  The victim received a gunshot wound, and was listed in serious condition.

     

    WANTED:

    Suspect #1:   Black male, 20’s, light complexion, goatee, and mustache, wearing a burgundy coat.

    Suspects 2-4:  Black males

    Sunday, 11/11/12 – 4:20 a.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    In the 20400 block of Schaefer, inside an apartment’s complex, three men, aged 35, 45, and 47, were struggling over a weapon, when it discharged.  Two of the men, and a female, aged 30, received gunshot wounds.  The female victim was listed in critical condition; the male victim (35) was listed in temp-serious condition; and the male victim (45) was listed in stable condition.  The weapon was recovered.

    ARRESTED:

    Known Suspect: Black male, 47.

    Sunday, 11/11/12 –1:30 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    At Connor and Gratiot, the male victim, aged 20 was a passenger on a crowded DDOT bus, when he accidentally bumped into the suspect, which escalated into a verbal altercation.  When the victim stepped off the bus, the suspect fired a shot, striking him.  The suspect fled from the location, and the victim was listed in temp-serious condition.

    WANTED:

    Suspect:  Black male, 5’-10”, medium complexion, wearing all black clothing, and armed.

    Sunday, 11/11/12 – 2:20 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    At E. McNichols, and Mt. Elliott., the male victim, aged 35, had stopped at a local gas station to make a purchase. When the victim returned to his vehicle, the suspect was seated inside the car.  The suspect demanded the victim’s keys, and escaped in his vehicle (2001, Audi A4).  The victim was not injured.

     

    WANTED: 
    Suspect:  Black male, 20’s, 5’-5”, 160 lbs, dark complexion, medium build, wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and armed.

    Sunday, 11/11/12 – 8:00 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    In the 14300 block of Blackstone, the male victim, aged 45, was driving his vehicle, when a car (silver/gray, Chrysler Sebring) passed by, and he heard shots and felt pain.  The victim received a gunshot wound, and was listed in stable condition.

     

    WANTED:

    Suspect: Unknown person, and armed

    Sunday, 11/11/12 – 8:30 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    In the 1600 block of Rademacher, the male victim, aged 56 (delivery driver), was approached by two suspects, who demanded money.  After taking the victim’s cash, a suspect fired shots, striking him in the body.   The suspects fled the location with an undisclosed amount of US currency.  The victim was listed in serious condition.

     

    WANTED:

    Suspects: Two men wearing mask.  No further information is available.

    Sunday, 11/11/12 – 11:35 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    In the 19100 block of Syracuse, the male victim, aged 19, was walking home when the suspect exited a vehicle, and demanded cash.  The victim did not have any money, and the suspect fired a shot, striking him in the body. The victim was listed in critical condition.

     

    WANTED:

    Suspect:   Black male, 20’s, and armed.

    Sunday, 11/11/12 – 11:50 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    In the 19300 block of Greenview, the male victim, aged 30, and female victims, aged 56, and 24, were inside a residence, with the suspect who had been visiting.  Suddenly, the suspect, produced a weapon, and fired shots, striking all of the victims.  The male victim was listed in critical condition.  The female victim (age 56), was listed in critical condition, and the second female victim was listed in temp-serious condition.   The circumstances pertaining to this incident are unknown at this time.

     

    ARRESTED:

    Known Suspect: Black male, 18.  The weapon was recovered.

    Monday, 11/12/12 – 1:30 a.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCE:

    In the 900 block of W. McNiclols, the male victim, aged 18, was at a local bar when he received a gunshot wound.  The victim refused to provide information pertaining to this incident. He was listed in temp-serious condition.

     

    WANTED:

    Suspect:   Black male; armed.
