    24-HOUR MAJOR CRIME SUMMARY REPORT

     January 25, 2013 – 6:01 a.m. to January 26, 2013 – 6:00 a.m.

     

    NOTE: The following summaries are allegations of incidents that have been reported and are under investigation.

    Friday, 01/25/13 –9:00 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 5500 block of Kensington, the male victim, John Doe, was found lying outside, injured.   The victim had received gunshot wounds to the body, and has died.  The circumstances surrounding this incident are unknown at this.

     

    WANTED

    Unknown Suspect:  Armed.

    Saturday, 01/26/13 – 1:05 a.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 8000 block of W. Eight Mile, the male victim, aged 51, was seated in his vehicle when three suspects approached, and fired shots into the vehicle.  The suspects fled from the location.  The victim received a gunshot wound, and was listed in temp-serious condition.

     

    WANTED:

    Three unknown suspects:  Wearing black ski masks, dark clothing and armed

    Saturday, 01/26/13 – 2:10 a.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    At Woodward and Fisher, the male victims, ages 24 and 23, were in a vehicle, approaching the intersection when a car (2010, red, Chrysler Sebring) pulled along side, and the suspect fired shots. The victims received gunshot wounds, and both were listed in stable conditions.

     

    WANTED:

    Suspects:  Four black males; one armed.

    Saturday, 01/26/13 – 3:00 a.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 20000 block of W. Warren, as the male victim, aged 24, exited a local gas station, the suspect approached.  The victim began to run and the suspect fired shots, striking him in the body. The victim was listed in critical condition.

     

    WANTED:

    Known Suspect: Black male, 23, 5’-7”, 160 lbs, has short fade hair cut, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and armed.

    Saturday, 01/26/13 –5:45 a.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 3500 block of E. McNichols, the male victim, aged 57, was in the parking lot when he was approached by the suspect, who robbed him.  The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of U. S. currency.  The victim was not injured.

     

    WANTED:

    Known Suspect:  Black male, 22, 5’6”, light complexion, and armed.

    Saturday, 01/26/13 – 4:00 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 1500 block of E. Nevada, as the male victim, aged 30, exited a local business, the suspect approached and fired shots. The victim received gunshot wounds to the body, and has died.

     

    WANTED:

    Known Suspect:  Black male, 30, 5’8”, 160 lbs, light complexion, beard, wearing a blue jacket, grey shirt, dark jeans and armed.

    Saturday, 01/26/13 –8:20 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 1000 block of Algers, the female victims, ages 43, 45, 46, and 47, were inside a dwelling when the suspects forced entry through the rear door and robbed them.  The suspects fled with the victims’ personal properties and an undisclosed amount of U. S. currency.  They were not harmed.

     

    WANTED:

    Suspect #1:  Black male, 30’s, 5’8”, 150 lbs, thin mustache, dark brown complexion, small build, pointy nose, wearing a black skull cap, black jacket, boots, and jeans.

    Suspect #2:  Black male, 30’s, mustache, dark complexion, small build, wearing all black and a black skull cap.

    Saturday, 01/26/13 – 9:15 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 8817 block of Pembrooke, the male victim, aged 21, was approached by a known suspect who robbed him.  The victim tried to run away when the suspect began firing shots striking the victim.  The victim was listed in critical condition.

     

    WANTED:

    Known Suspect:  Black male, 25, 6’0”, 200 lbs, medium complexion, and armed.

    Saturday, 01/26/13 –11:55 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    At Seymour and Celestine, the female victim, aged 49, was approached by two suspects who robbed her.  The suspects escaped with an undisclosed amount of U. S. currency and the personal property.  The victim was not injured.

     

    WANTED:

    Suspect #1:  Two black males, late teens, 5’8”, 125 lbs, light complexions.

    Saturday, 01/26/13 –4:00 a.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 17700 block of W. Warren, the male victim, aged 46, was asleep in his car when the suspect broke out the passenger side window and announced a robbery.  The suspect fired a shot striking the victim and fled with the victim’s personal property.  The victim was listed in temp-serious condition.

     

    WANTED:

    Suspect:  Black male, 20’s, 5’5”, 150 lbs, and armed.

    Sunday, 01/27/13 -4:15 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 12600 block of Kelly, the female victim, aged 32, was in her driveway when she was approached by the suspects.  The suspects produced weapons and robbed the victim.  The suspects escaped in the victim’s vehicle.  The victim was not injured.

     

    ARRESTED:

    Suspect #1: Black male, 5’-6”, 130 lbs, small build, and armed.  The vehicle has been recovered.

     

    WANTED:

    Unknown suspect #2:  Black male, 5-3”, 135 lbs, small build, and armed

    Sunday, 01/27/13 -8:45 a.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 15000 block of W. Seven Mile Road, the suspects entered the local business and demanded cash.  The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and miscellaneous merchandise.  No injuries.

     

    WANTED:

    Suspect #1:  Black male, 20’s, 5’-6”, 130 lbs, dark complexion, small build, wearing a black leather jacket and a sweater with a hood.

    Suspect #2:  Black male, 20’s, 5’-6”, 130 lbs, dark complexion, small build, wearing a black puffy jacket and a dark gray sweater with a hood.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    At Dexter and Waverly, the male victim, aged 47, was loitering outside of a local business, when the suspect exited and produced a weapon.  He fired shots, which struck the victim in the body.  The suspect fled the location.  The victim was listed in temp-serious condition

     

    WANTED:

    Suspect:  Black male, 5′-6″, 165 lbs, light complexion, and armed.

    Sunday, 01/27/13 -11:30 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 9300 block of Mendota, the female victim, aged 25, was approached by suspects.  Suspect #1 produced a weapon and demanded her cash.  Suspect #1 escaped in the victims’ vehicle (red, 1998, 4-door, Mercury Mountaineer) along with several personal items.  Suspect #2 followed in a vehicle (dark colored, Ford Fusion).  The victim was not injured.

     

    WANTED:

    Unknown suspect:  Black male, teens, 5′-6″, 130 lbs, dark complexion, wearing all black clothing  a hat, and armed.

    Unknown suspect:  Black male, teens, 135 lbs, dark complexion, small build, wearing all black clothing.

    At Lauder and Curtis, the female victim, aged 45, was approached by the suspect who produced a weapon and robbed her.  The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and personal items.  The victim was not injured.

    Unknown suspect:  Black male, teen’s, 5′-11″, 150 lbs, clean shaven, light brown complexion, small build, wearing a black coat, a sweater with a hood, blue jeans, black boots, and armed
