    24-HOUR MAJOR CRIME SUMMARY REPORT

    March 3, 2013 – 6:01 a.m. to March 4, 2013 – 6:00 a.m.

    NOTE: The following summaries are allegations of incidents that have been reported and are under investigation.

    Sunday, 03/03/13 – 7:15 a.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 19300 Strasburg, the female victim, 41, was inside her residence when the suspect entered and physically assaulted her. The victim was robbed and the suspect escaped with an undisclosed amount of U. S. currency. The victim was listed in stable condition.
    WANTED:

    Suspect #1: Black male, 20’s, 6’-0”, 200 lbs, medium build and armed.

    Sunday, 03/03/13 – 12:23 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 16300 block of Bringard, the male victim, 11, was pulling the trash bin to place it on the public street when he was struck by a truck (possible year of 2001-2003, Dodge Ram pick-up, with a possible snow plow attachment on the front). The truck left the scene of the accident. The victim has died. There has been no arrest.

    WANTED:

    Suspect #1: White male, 40’s.

    The Homicide Unit will be handling this investigation (Telephone number: 313-596-2260).

    Sunday, 03/03/13 – 1:20 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 20200 block of Joy Rd., the male victim, 33, and the suspect was involved in a verbal altercation concerning the vehicle repair cost. The suspect left and returned. He produced a weapon, and fired a shot, striking the victim in the body. The victim was listed in stable condition. The suspect escaped in another car being driven by a female suspect.

    ARRESTED:

    Known suspect #1: Black male, 55, and armed.

    Unknown suspect #2: Female, driver.

    Monday, 03/04/13 – 8:35 a.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 20100 block of Greenview, the male victim, 26, was discovered with gunshot wounds to his body. He was listed in serious condition. The circumstances pertaining to this incident are unknown at this time.

    WANTED:

    Unknown suspect(s): Armed.

    Monday, 03/04/13 – 11:30 p.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 9200 block of Patton, the female victim, 46, was inside her dwelling asleep, when she was awaken by the suspect who took personal items, and un undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. The suspect exited a rear door, and fled from the location. The victim was not injured.

    WANTED:

    Suspect: Black Male, 20’s, 5-4”, 150 lbs, has a medium complexion, wearing all dark colored clothing and coat, with a black scarf over his face, and armed.

    Tuesday, 03/05/13 – 12:30 a.m.

    CIRCUMSTANCES:

    In the 17500 block of Murray Hill, the male victim, 34, was seated on the driver’s side in his vehicle, when he heard a shot fired and felt pain. The victim received a gunshot wound, and was listed in serious condition. The circumstances pertaining to this incident are unknown at this time.

    WANTED:

    Unknown suspect(s): Armed.
