• NCAA TOURNAMENT 2nd AND 3rd ROUND OPEN PRACTICES FREE TO GENERAL PUBLIC AT THE PALACE OF AUBURN HILLS

    Screen shot 2013-03-18 at 2.46.07 PMAUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Palace Sports and Entertainment and NCAA Tournament 2nd and 3rd round host school, Oakland University, announced today that practices for participating teams on Wednesday, March 20 will be free and open to the general public beginning from 12 noon – 7:20 p.m.  Practice schedules for Michigan State, Michigan, Valparaiso, Memphis, Virginia Commonwealth, Akron, South Dakota State and either Middle Tennessee State or St. Mary’s (CA) are as follows:

    TIME TEAM PRACTICE

    12:00-12:40 p.m. Valparaiso

    12:45-1:25 p.m. South Dakota State

    1:30-2:10 p.m. Michigan State

    2:15-2:45 p.m. Memphis

    4:25-5:05 p.m. Michigan

    5:10-5:50 p.m. Virginia Commonwealth

    5:55-6:35 p.m. Middle Tennessee State or St. Mary’s (CA)

    6:40-7:20 p.m. Akron

     

    The free open practices give fans their first opportunity to watch participating teams in action prior to NCAA Tournament 2nd and 3rd round competition at The Palace.   Fans wishing to attend can park for free and enter through the West Atrium entrance at The Palace.
