ALCS - Detroit Tigers v Boston Red Sox - Game One

In a press conference this morning, Tigers president and general manager Dave Dombrowski announced Jim Leyland is stepping down as the Detroit Tigers manager. Leyland has led the Tigers for 8 seasons noting two World Series appearances.

“I have told most all of you, when it’s time, it’s time — and it’s time,” Leyland said. “It’s time to step down from the managerial position of the Detroit Tigers.”
