The event will present information from experts in the field on topics like:

  • reverse mortgages
  • advice for first time home buyers
  • preventing mortgage foreclosure
  • avoiding mortgage scams
  • weatherizing your home and making it energy efficient
  • housing rehabilitation grants
  • how to apply for MSHDA financing

There will be two sessions covering the same material; 10 AM to 1 PM and 6 PM to 9 PM.

The free event is Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012 at the UAW Voter Outreach Center 17575 Livernois Detroit MI 48221.
