Southfield (Mich.) 2016 running back Matthew Falcon missed his entire sophomore season with a torn ACL but he certainly hasn’t let that hold him back from being recruited because since getting back on the field, the talented running back hasn’t missed a beat.
On May 16th, Falcon received his first scholarship offer from Ohio State, soon after that he received two more scholarship offers from Cincinnati and Akron.
Well it seems the state of Ohio, just can’t get enough of Falcon because on Friday, after performing well at the Toledo Rockets football camp, Falcon was presented with yet another scholarship offer, this time from Toledo.
At this point, I think it’s safe to say that Falcon’s college interest and offer list will only get bigger from here. At 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, Falcon has a great combination of speed and vision to make defenders miss in the open field but he also has the unique power-rushing ability to break tackles and gain the tough yardage.
So as his off-season continues and his junior year gets closer, don’t be surprised if you hear his name more because at this point, Falcon is going straight to the top.
If you want to see Falcon in action before the season starts, I suggest you go to the Sound Mind, Sound Body Camp on June 12th – June 13th, because Falcon says he is excited and ready to perform at a high level.
